These start as typical freight-market figures, so treat the dollar amounts as planning estimates. Swap in numbers from your forwarder's quotes and everything above recalculates.
Each LP is counted at 1 lb (0.4536 kg) including its packaging, as given. Portland is taken as Portland, Oregon, and Dublin as Dublin, Ireland.
Distances are straight-line figures with route factors (road ×1.25, air ×1.08, sea ×1.45) plus short trucking legs to airports and ports. West-coast sea routes to the Atlantic are approximated the same way, so treat those as rough. Duties, VAT, customs brokerage and insurance are not included.
