Get to Know Your Maker! Meet Nick
Like many vinyl pressing plants, we're a small team. We churn out custom vinyl records like nobody's business. We sweat, we craft, we maneuver, we get mad at the machine when it isn't working. We're people. Today, we're gonna learn a little more about one of our makers - Nick! Nick joined Hellbender at our PGH location, but has since moved to Philly to support our new record pressing plant there.

What do you do at the vinyl plant?
I'm the plant Manager of our Philly operation.
What instrument do you play? How long have you been playing music?
Guitar, Keys and Drums. Not sure, I always liked noodling on them. Started learning for real when I was 10.
What is your favorite album at the moment?
Been revisiting "Tribute", Ozzy's live album with Randy Rhodes. Two very bad boys who are no longer with us. Very nostalgic for me.
Where's your favorite spot in Philly?
People always talk about cheesesteaks but apparently the real Philly sandwich is roast pork with broccoli rabe. They're fantastic. Best place I've found is Old Nick's on the south side. Yes they get a bonus point for the name.
What's your fav thing about working at a record plant?
Helping to get musicians paid. Lord knows we need it.
